Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DayOneSite's website design and hosting services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

DayOneSite provides done-for-you website design and hosting for local businesses. Depending on your plan, this may include website design, hosting, domain management, SEO optimization, and Google Ads management.

Payment Terms

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in USD.

Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how cancellation works:

Intellectual Property

Your content is yours. You retain full ownership of all content you provide (logos, photos, text, business information).

Website code: All plans include ownership of your website files. You may use, modify, and host them however you wish.

Portfolio rights: We may showcase your website in our portfolio and marketing materials as an example of our work. If you'd prefer we don't, just let us know at hello@dayonesite.com and we'll remove it.

Your Responsibilities

No Guarantee of Business Results

We build great websites, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes such as increased sales, leads, or search rankings. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, competition, and how you run your business.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayOneSite's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business opportunities.

Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for temporary downtime due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Austin, Texas.
